A board-certified Gastroenterology Physician is responsible for performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopies, biopsies, foreign body removal, and esophageal manometry. The role requires active medical licensure in California and certifications such as FLURO, with experience using Epic EMR systems. The physician provides clinical care for 12-16 patients per shift and participates in on-call duties.
Shift: clinical hours plus call

Requirements:
- Board Status: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active CA State License only.
- Certifications: Yes - Active FLURO REQUIRED
Key Details:
- Upper GI Endoscopy with Biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) required
- ERCP Diagnostic and Therapeutic with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) required
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry required
- Esophageal manometry interpretation required
- Small Bowel biopsy required
- Lower GI endoscopy required
- Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible) required
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp required
- Liver biopsy required
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) preferred
