A rural Kentucky hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN for inpatient-only call coverage on select dates in July, August, October, and December, with potential for additional ongoing needs. This role involves full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital-based setting.

• Inpatient management of OB/GYN patients

• Rounding on inpatients and managing labor & delivery

• Responding to antepartum triage and ER consults related to OB/GYN

• Performing emergent OB and GYN procedures

• Labor & vaginal deliveries

• C-sections

• Management of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and maternal hemorrhage

• ER consults and treatment

• D&Cs, ablations, hysterectomy, and other urgent gynecologic surgeries

• Average 30 deliveries per month

• No midwife coverage provider will be first call

• EPIC EMR system

• L&D RN support onsite
