Shift / Schedule: Rotating Days / Evening / Nights with floating holidays, weekends, on-call, call-back, and charge per unit needs
Assignment length: 13 or 17 weeks considered
Must already have SSN to be submitted
Agency switches not allowed by facility
Responsible for pre/post procedural care and 23-hour observation for IR patients, including overnight boarding
Care for inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
Experience with GI post-procedural care preferred but not required
Required to wear hospital-issued scrubs and follow infection prevention protocols
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years Registered IR Nursing experience
Telemetry experience required
New York RN license only
Strong communication, critical thinking, team orientation, flexibility, and organizational skills
Medical/Surgical experience preferred
Certifications:
BLS (AHA only)
ACLS (AHA only)
Short Description:
SMH Level 3 RN providing care for patients undergoing CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, Ultrasound, and IR procedures. Responsible for pre/post procedural care, 23-hour observation, and overnight boarding. Rotating D/E/N schedule with floating holidays, weekends, on-call, call-back, and charge duties. Assignment length 13–17 weeks.
