REQUIREMENTS- Minimum 2 years of direct LIVER/TRANSPLANT Operating Room RN experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with:
- Liver transplants
- Heart transplants
- Lung transplants
- Kidney transplants
- Experience must be clearly documented on the Skills Checklist
- Must be proficient in MISONIX and CUSA
- Must have experience implanting organs into recipients
- Candidates with harvesting-only experience will NOT be accepted
Position Details- Specialty: RN – Operating Room (Transplant)
- First-time travelers accepted: Yes
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
On-Call Requirements- 1 on-call shift per week
- 2 weekend 12-hour on-call shifts per month
- Details to be discussed by the Nurse Manager during the interview
Certifications- Required at submission: BLS, ACLS
- Required prior to start: NIHSS
- Pending license accepted: Yes
Vaccination Requirements- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
- Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Additional Facility Requirements- SMOKE-FREE FACILITY
- All travelers must be nicotine-free
- Negative 10-Panel Drug Screen + Nicotine (Cotinine) test required
