The department serves as the academic training center for 16 residents, along with medical students, through our faculty appointments within the Mercer University School of Medicine. We are the tertiary Ob/Gyn referral center for South & Central Georgia. The department consists of Generalist, MFM, Gyn Onc, Urogyn, REI, and MIGS teams. Faculty enjoy both the opportunity to educate future providers and build strong clinical practices. We collaborate with quality, academic, and research endeavors with our colleagues Wake Forest and Charlotte, NC Faculty rank is awarded upon a combination of work experience, academic endeavors, and research experience. This position includes a unique opportunity to be a part of a professional network of Residency and Fellowship Program Directors and Faculty across our Southeastern Region.
