Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience, including some acute care, and active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient physical therapy with one day per week in acute care
• Typical caseload is 8-10 patients per day in outpatient and 10-12 patients per day in acute care
• Epic is used for electronic medical records
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Work schedule requires availability for two of the three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated; medical and religious exemptions are considered upon request
• Expect to treat both outpatient and acute care patient populations
• Team support available with exposure to multiple campuses
• Open to first-time travelers
• Scrub or professional dress code may apply based on department standards
• Candidates with a taxable home address within 60 miles are subject to local traveler pay policy

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of previous PT experience required
• Outpatient PT experience required; inpatient/acute care experience encouraged
• Active state PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least one completed travel contract is preferred
• References from a supervisor within the last 2 years are highly preferred
