An experienced Breast Surgeon specialized in oncology breast surgeries including mastectomies, lumpectomies, and oncoplastic procedures. The role requires performing at least 100 breast surgeries in the past 24 months and managing high-risk and benign breast diseases. Fellowship training or extensive breast surgery experience is preferred for this permanent or locum position in Orange County, California.
Breast Surgeon - Orange County California
This is a long-term, permanent search for a provider, OR a full time locums provider to cover the position while the facility searches for their permanent provider. The locums provider can be considered for the permanent role, if desired. The candidate must be an experienced Breast Surgeon, providing procedure logs, and we must provide the facility proof of at least 100 breast surgeries performed over the past 24 months. This need is for Oncology Breast Surgery and Mastectomy/lumpectomy. There is no need for reduction mammoplasty, augmentation mammoplasty, or mastopexy. A fellowship trained candidate or a general surgeon with extensive breast experience is preferred. The surgeon must be able to perform lumpectomies, mastectomies including nipple, sparing mastectomy, participate in joint oncoplastic surgeries, sentinel note biopsy and axillary dissection. They should also have facile knowledge of high risk and benign breast disease as well as survivorship.
