Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Fort Pierce, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This driving and armed post involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter suspicious behavior and maintain a visible presence.
- Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
