Med/Surg Travel RN Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a Medical-Surgical unit within an acute care hospital
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to nursing interventions
• Administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and assist with procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for all patients and staff
