Duties:
Required Procedures: Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement). High risk procedures: G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement.

Credentialing Information:
Timeframe: 30-60 days from receipt of FULLY completed application
Requirements: Must be on active staff at a TJC accredited facility with unrestricted privileges (NOT just working as a locums with privileges)
Credentialing with other facilities? No
- Average Number of ICU Patients per Provider per day: 15-20 patients on service per day
MSO requires the application completed within 3 days of being confirmed despite the start date

- Board Certification Current ANCC/AANP (NP) or NCCPA (PA) certified Required
- State License Required
- Other Certifications ACLS, ATLS, and DEA - ATLS is NOT a deal breaker. Will consider candidates that have current ACLS certification with substantial experience in neurosurgery and/or neurocritical care experience. The locum APPs on the neuro-trauma service do not assist in surgery.
