Unit: Adult Psychiatry (Locked Unit)

Patient Population: Adults 18+ presenting with a range of psychiatric and dualdiagnosis
conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety,
schizophrenia, psychosis, and substance/alcohol-related disorders.

Unit Size: 14 beds, expanding to 20 beds within 36 months.

Environment: Locked unit; secure behavioral health setting.

Patient Mix: Variable day-to-day; typically a blend of diagnoses and acuity levels.
Staing Model

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:7 when at full census (2 nurses per shift).
