Job DescriptionThe Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide care to patients with intermediate care acuity. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to teamwork.
Responsibilities- Monitor patient conditions and interpret telemetry strips.
- Titrate medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro.
- Collaborate with Hospitalists and Intensivists for comprehensive patient care.
- Manage and assist with the care of patients undergoing various procedures.
- Participate in floating to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.
- Current RN license in the state.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience in an intermediate care setting is preferred.
