Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based RRT experience
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document all patient care activities and respiratory interventions
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and deliver critical respiratory support as needed
