Registered Nurse (RN) - NOC 12 Hours
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family members/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
- Adhere to standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
- 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred).
- PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
- Basic Life Support certification (Required).
This position requires a NOC shift of 12 hours.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
