Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient role requiring EPIC charting experience and a current MA license.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient physical therapy setting
- Work within the Orleans PT/PTA unit
- Shift is from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Uses Epic for electronic medical records and UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
- Primary responsibilities include helping patients reach maximum physical function and independence
- Assist patients with exercises and in the use of assistive or supportive devices
- Documentation must be completed accurately in Epic
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for standard rates; local rates apply if within 60 miles
- Parking may not be validated and costs can range from $17-$22 daily depending on location
Requirements
- Current and active MA physical therapy license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted
- License required if applicable
- BLS certification required, AHA preferred
- No minimum years of experience required
- Experience with Epic charting is needed
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
