Job Overview
An acute care hospital in Machias, Maine is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a Rad Tech who is comfortable working night shifts and providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a community-based hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and radiation protection at all times
- Operate imaging equipment in compliance with hospital protocols
- Accurately document exams and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification
- Maine license if applicable
- Prior acute care or hospital-based imaging experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills
