Pulmonary/Critical Care Medical Director Opportunity in North Georgia

Georgia Health Care System and Physician Group are recruiting a Pulmonary/Critical Care Medical Director for Medical Center and a hospital-owned outpatient practice.

Qualified candidates:

• Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care with 5+ years of experience
• Interested in growing a Pulmonary/Critical Care service line
• MBA a plus
• +/- BC/BE in sleep medicine
• Superb procedural skills
• Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
• Ability to work as a team member
• Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care

Responsibilities:

• 50/50 IP/OP Pulmonary Critical Care Clinical Duties with Administrative Medical Director Time.

Critical Care Department Overview:

• 18 bed MICU, 10 bed SICU
• Level III Trauma center
• Physician provides On-Site day coverage with night call (call pay provided)
• 24/7 APP support
• Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency program
• Tremendous opportunity for growth within the practice, where you will be supported by a strong and collaborative team with an excellent work culture & collegiality amongst providers and staff

Outpatient Practice Overview:

• Multi-specialty clinic including Pulmonary, ID, Rheumatology
• Monday-Thursday, 8-5, Friday 8-12
• Procedures- Bronchoscopy; EBUS
