Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Shipping/Receiving team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments with precision and accuracy.
- Inspecting and verifying the quality and quantity of shipments against packing lists and invoices.
- Maintaining organized and efficient storage systems to facilitate quick retrieval and inventory management.
- Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Utilizing equipment and technology to manage inventory and track shipments effectively.
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment to promote team well-being.
Experience Level:
- Preferred experience level is 2 to 3 years in shipping and receiving or related fields.
Desired Skills:
We are looking for individuals who possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. You should have:
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and shipping tools.
-Strong Computer MS offic, excel and word
-Must be Forklift certified
-Ability to lift 50lbs or more
-Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently.
- A proactive mindset that embraces problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
