Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with holidays as needed
• 4-5 weekend shifts required in a 4-week period as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:3 to 1:4 based on acuity
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (American Heart Association only)
• PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Dress code: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, airway management, and use of rapid response teams
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule available with manager approval
• Must complete pre-start modules (average 4 hours, non-billable)
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
