- Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
- Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
- Call Schedule: No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
- Call Ratio: No call during locum period; call expected if placed perm; call schedule is 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
- What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine
- Number of Physicians in Practice: 7
- How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 6
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 25
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 20
- Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting
- Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): N/A
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes.
- Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 Days
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active SC license(will accept providers needing to obtain a state license) - REQUIRED
- BLS & DEA - REQUIRED
- Clean background required for Emergency temps - REQUIRED
- Current NPDB required for presentation Trio - REQUIRED
