Job Description
Join our Progressive Care Unit, a dynamic environment with 44 beds and a skilled staff of 95. We focus on patient-centered care while maintaining a supportive team atmosphere. This unit is equipped with advanced technology and diverse patient care needs, making it an ideal setting for experienced RNs with a passion for neuro and trauma care.
Responsibilities
- Perform neuro and spinal checks
- Place C-Collars and TLSO braces
- Administer PCA pumps and IV infusions
- Manage chest tubes and lumbar drains
- Assist in feeding tube placement and blood transfusions
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Experience in neuro and trauma care is mandatory
