ScheduleRotating shifts of 3x12 hours: Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30 and Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30.
Job DescriptionThe Med/Surg Tele RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs. This role requires an adaptable healthcare professional who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation.
