Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring BLS, ACLS, and recent fetal monitoring certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Nursery) unit
- Care for laboring, postpartum, and nursery patients
- 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
- Every other weekend required
- Responsibilities include caring for mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
- Must provide two separate professional references
- Covid vaccination is not required for this assignment
- All positions are auto offer
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule, which varies by state
- Clinicians are encouraged to discuss possible contract extensions 45 days before assignment end date
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Recent fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent completed within the past 2 years if not on competency exam)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics
- At least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Copy of driver’s license required
