Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00). Expect 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix, with weekend coverage being variable (day, evening, or night shift). Holidays and call requirements will follow department needs, with a call-back response time of 30 minutes.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of Level I trauma experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in robotic surgery techniques, especially with the Davinci xi and DV5 robots. The nurse will function independently across multiple specialties, including Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Thoracic surgery (excluding cardiac and open heart). The role may also involve caring for COVID patients and working in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical screenings to assess candidate fit for surgical procedures.
• Independent functioning in various surgical specialties.
• Utilize Davinci surgical robots competently during procedures.
• Participate in patient care, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with Level I Trauma.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Current AHA or ARC certification required.
• Eligible candidates must be able to function independently in a surgical setting with a variety of specialties.
