Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Patient ratio of 1:5 across all shifts
• 2 years of nursing experience required with previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred
• 8 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must float to all MSI units including ED for inpatient holds
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• Must have both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license
• Extensive skills required including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, respiratory management, and various specialized procedures
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must complete pre-start EMR modules and orientation training
• 2 references required from past year including one supervisor level or above
