The Chief of Radiology Physician oversees radiology and nuclear medicine services, including interventional radiology, CT, ultrasound, MRI, and diagnostic radiology, providing patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. The position serves veterans in West Virginia and supports multiple radiology subspecialties to ensure high standards and effective service delivery.
Imaging provides Radiology & Nuclear Medicine subspecialty services, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care to the Veterans. The Imaging Service is one of the largest clinical departments with specialty sections including Interventional Radiology, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Diagnostic Radiology, MRI and PACS. Each of these divisions has its own special procedure and system of workflow, scheduling, quality monitoring and maintenance, and compliance with standards and regulations.
