Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios ideally 1:4 during days and 1:5 during nights
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as determined by unit requirements
• Work on a 40-bed unit with 20 beds on McCann unit featuring single rooms with telemetry capability
• Care for adult and geriatric patients including primary COVID patients
• Required to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and work with telemetry monitoring
• Titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin
• 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)
• First-time travelers with 2-3 years experience and Epic or Cerner experience will be considered
• Massachusetts state license required and must be valid at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Any color scrubs acceptable (no jean material)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred but not required
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

The facility utilizes Cerner charting systems and offers free parking for staff in unrestricted spaces or designated lots. The hospital maintains high standards of patient care with specialized units including a telemetry-capable medical-surgical unit that serves as the primary location for COVID patient care.
