About the FacilityA health system is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in central New Hampshire.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis position is for a non-invasive cardiologist with an approved six-month term, though long-term coverage is needed. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1:4 call rotation, including one weekend per month. The role is primarily outpatient, but inpatient consults may be required at times, along with night and weekend call. Clinical responsibilities include reading echocardiograms and ECGs, with TEE and cardioversion skills preferred. The cardiologist will also advise cardiac rehab staff. In the clinic, the average patient load is 14-16 per day. The position is supported by three APPs (potentially two in the future) and multiple RNs.
