Summary: Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Silverdale, WA is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA) to provide outpatient cardiology coverage on a locum tenens basis.
This is a clinic-only position. No inpatient, hospital rounding or procedural responsibilities. This provider will manage follow-up visits after procedures, annual cardiology visits, and acute outpatient cardiology visits. The role also includes inbox coverage for providers who are out of the office.
Schedule/Availability Requirements: Start: As soon as credentialed Shift time: 8am-5pm Full time Monday Friday Assignment duration: 6-9 months
Providers submitted must be willing to work full time. They are not open to one week on and one week off. Provider MUST be comfortable seeing 16 patients per day, roughly 30 min per visit. Expectation is to start seeing 16 patients one week from start. Candidates must have at least 2 years Cardiology exp.

This is an outpatient clinic only position - no inpatient, hospital rounding or procedural responsibilities. No call, or weekends.

Support Staff: Collaborative team-based clinic with full MA, RN and front office staff
Reason for Coverage: Backfill APP leaving
Deal breakers: Must have cardiology outpatient experience, and EPIC experience
Patient Volume: Approximately 16 patient visits per day Consultations: None, follow-up and established patient visits only Additional Duties: Inbox coverage / management for absent providers
- Must have strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills
- Must be comfortable working independently within a team-based care model
- Must be proficient in interpreting cardiology imaging and diagnostic testing results for management of complex patients
Credentialing Information: Timeframe: up to 90 days
