Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an inpatient rehab position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Patient care in an SCC Nursing unit
- Uses Epic charting system
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for rehabilitation patients
- Must maintain accurate medical records and administer medications while monitoring for reactions or side effects
- Will regularly collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust patient treatment plans
- No validated parking available at some locations; public transportation or paid public parking may be necessary
- Use of UKG/Kronos for timekeeping is required
- All requested time off must be noted at time of application
- Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted, subject to local rate rules
Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts required at time of consideration; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Familiarity with practical nursing principles and medical terminology
- Must maintain confidentiality and accurately triage acute patients
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required, with no exemptions allowed
- Two professional references required
