A mental health organization in Western New York is currently seeking a licensedForensic Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Rochester.

Responsibilities:

TheForensic Inpatient Psychiatrist will be responsible for:

• Providing lethality assessments, suicide precautions and forensic evaluations when needed
• Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers
• Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions in the event that a Physician is not on site
• Providingrestraint and seclusion
• Providingpsychiatric services via Video Teleconference
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• License to practice medicine in New York State
• Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
• Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number)
• Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programs
