What We Offer:

Schedule: Monday- Sunday, 7am-5pm- every other weekend required and weekdays can be flexible.

Novant Health Ortho & Sports Medicine Cotswold is seeking a Rad Tech. The Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
What You'll Do:
  • Performs direct patient care. Collects data to determine correct procedure /protocol to be followed. Performs screening processes for medication reconciliation and allergy confirmation. Reviews orders for clarity and verifies as needed. Performs and assists the physicians in performing radiology procedures.
