RN - Cath Lab II

Join a patient-centered health system with opportunities to specialize in cath lab/IR care. Cath Lab II RN; full-time shifts in hospital Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology in Florida; ongoing role with standard hospital scheduling. - Active Florida or multi-state RN license (required) - Minimum 1 year RN experience (required) - 1+ year CV Lab/Interventional Radiology or critical care preferred - Cardiac cath/procedural experience and national specialty certification preferred - Ability to lift 50 lbs, color vision, hearing, manual dexterity

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be able to handle an emergency crisis and unpredictable situations. The position requires a considerable amount of physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds; any work load exceeding 50 pounds will require assistance. Color vision for perceiving changes in patients' skin color and colors of medicines and solutions, hearing to distinguish differences in heartbeat and breathing of patients, and motor coordination and manual dexterity to coordinate hands, eyes, and fingers. Required Work Experience: Minimum of one year RN experience required. Other Information: One year of Cardiovascular Lab/ Interventional Radiology experience preferred. Cardiac Catheterization or other related procedural areas, one year of critical care experience in a hospital setting preferred. Acute/ Critical RN experience preferred. National Certification in area of clinical specialty (preferred).Additional Education Info: BSN preferred.Additional Credential Info: Active Florida or multi-state RN license, required. National Certification in area of clinical specialty (preferred).
