McLaren Thumb Region has an immediate opening for an OB/GYN to assume an existing patient base for a retiring provider in Bad Axe, Michigan. Step into an established practice with a full patient panel under an employed practice model.
Job Description:
- 1 MD in clinic, 1 NP 3 days per week, 2 full-time MAs, 1 part-time MA
- Three provider group performs 460 gynecological procedures annually
- 30-40 patients per day (inpatient AND outpatient)
- Work-life balance
- Dedicated surgery day
- Established patient panel
- Enjoy a collegial environment practicing with another OB/GYN and a Nurse Practitioner.
- The facility offers the only birthing center in the region and delivers approximately 370 babies a year.
- Employed position with a financially sound organization
- On-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and Phlebotomy
- The office is conveniently located near the hospital.
- EMR: None in clinic (paper charting); hospital does use EMR
- Open to J1 visa candidates, but cannot accept H1B candidates
- Not accepting Locums
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Michigan License (or in process) - REQUIRED
- BLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Copy of most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED no exemptions
- Permanent Placement Fee 26K (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
