Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring strong evaluation and treatment experience and active state licensure in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
- Work with both physician-referred and direct access patients
- Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Supervise and collaborate with PT assistants and technicians
- Treat a range of cases, including injured workers and various rehabilitation needs
- Utilize exercise equipment and modalities present in the facility
- Responsibilities include patient evaluation, plan of care development, and supervision of assistants and technicians
- Required to communicate regularly with referring physicians and rehab nurses regarding patient progress
- Expected to aid with scheduling, referrals, and administrative duties as needed
- Participation in marketing, business development, and community events may be requested
- Professional conduct and teamwork are essential across patient, provider, and community interactions
Requirements
- Active state PT license in good standing required (license required if applicable)
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and execute treatment
- Experience with injured worker rehabilitation and knowledge of ACOMP systems preferred
- Competence in performing Work Hardening, Functional Capacity, and ergonomic/job analysis evaluations
- Ability to maintain all licensure and compliance requirements
