Ready for a high-impact GI locum role in one of Maine s most picturesque coastal towns? We re seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Rockport, Maine offering $4000/day, paid travel, complimentary lodging, and zero weekend or overnight call.

With flexible one-week-per-month scheduling (and ideal candidates covering more!), this is your chance to earn premium rates while enjoying the rocky coastlines, fresh lobster, and fresh air of Rockport. You'll work alongside a supportive OR team, handle a mix of inpatient procedures and light clinic work, and help cover essential endo needs for this hospital-based program.

• Location: Rockport, ME

• Pay Rate: $4000/day

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour days (30-min lunch)

• Commitment: Minimum 1 week/month through 2026

• On-Call: Day-call only (7a 4p); no nights or weekends

• Setting: Inpatient procedures in OR + 1 clinic day/week

• Volume: clinic patients/day

• Support Staff: Full anesthesia (CRNA + anesthesiologist) & OR staff

• EMR: Epic

• Required GI Procedures:

  • Lower GI Endoscopy

  • Sigmoidoscopy

  • Colonoscopy

  • Upper Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal banding, diagnostic)

• Advanced Procedures: Preferred but not required

• ERCP: Not required

• Travel: Fully covered including flights, rental car, mileage

• Lodging: Fully covered

• Malpractice: Fully covered

• COVID + Flu Vaccines Required

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology

• BLS & ACLS Certification

• Active ME License or IMLC

• Available for listed weeks (or at least 1/week/month)

• Institutional ADR 35% preferred
