The position is for a board-certified or eligible Heart Failure Cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and complex cardiovascular disease management within a growing Heart & Vascular program. The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary cardiology and surgery teams, participation in clinical research and quality initiatives, and provision of patient-focused care. Seeking BE/BC Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a growing Heart & Vascular program in southeastern North Carolina
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and complex cardiovascular disease
Manage heart failure therapies including mechanical circulatory support and advanced pharmacologic management
Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced practice providers
Participate in quality initiatives, clinical research, and program development
Share call with a collegial group of cardiologists promoting work-life balance
MD/DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease required
Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology preferred
