Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to manage diverse patient populations, and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients with diverse acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform through patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
- Comprehensive patient assessment and acute care nursing
- Medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
- Time management and multitasking in fast-paced units
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Accurate EMR documentation and strong patient safety compliance
- Valid NY State RN license
- ACLS Certified through AHA
