Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a PACU role in Minnesota requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and proficiency in peri-anesthesia care.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the PACU with responsibilities in pre-op, phase 2 recovery, and post-anesthesia care
• Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Telemetry skills required with ability to read cardiac tele strips
• Must be experienced in IV therapy and titrating pressors
• 30 hours per week with 10-hour day/evening shifts
• Responsibilities include preparation, recovery, and monitoring of patients post-anesthesia
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless a religious or medical exemption is approved
• Must be able to start within 3 weeks of offer

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 3-5 years of perianesthesia or relevant critical care experience preferred
• Experience with pre-op, phase 2, and PACU settings required
• Tele trained and able to interpret cardiac telemetry strips
• Strong IV skills and experience with titrating pressors necessary
• Experience in pediatric, adult, and geriatric care required
