RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 3 weekend shifts required within each 4-week schedule period
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Support provided by 1 unit secretary and 5 PCTs on days/3 PCTs on nights
• Required certification: BLS
• Must hold Missouri RN license
• Perform procedures including IVs, foley catheters, external urinary catheters, wound care, post-operative care, trach care, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Work with equipment including Welch Allen/Dynamap VS machines, bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, and wound vacs
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Follow patient experience requirements including personal connections with patients, AIDET, bedside shift report, and hourly rounding
• Dress code: Navy blue scrub top, navy or black scrub pants; undershirts and/or scrub jackets must be navy, white, or black (no sweatshirts or track jackets allowed)
• Subject to facility floating policy
