Now Hiring: Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Utica, NY
Schedule: Guaranteed 48 hour Night shift (7p-730a)
Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer a variety of medications, including IV drips, vasopressors, and antiarrhythmics, and adjust dosages as needed
• Provide critical care to patients with severe heart conditions, especially those recovering from cardiac surgery like bypasses, valve replacements, or heart transplants
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, adjust treatment plans, and provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Manage and adjust settings on ventilators and monitor and maintain chest tubes and other surgical devices.
• Provide specialized care after cardiac surgeries, including wound care, pain management, and assisting with early ambulation
Qualifications:
• Active NY RN license
• Minimum 2 years working in CVICU
• Experience with fresh hearts is Required
• American Heart BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required
• Recent EPIC experience is required
