Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center

Location: Phoenix, AZ

The Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is actively recruiting a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join our growing team at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This unique opportunity to join a national leader in multidisciplinary cancer care, education, and discovery. Qualified candidates are BC/BE in plastic surgery and have training/experience in a full range of reconstructive techniques for head and neck, breast, extremity, and body wall deformities associated with oncologic surgery and radiotherapy. Clinical skills in reconstructive microsurgery are essential, including free tissue transfer, nerve repair, and microlymphatic surgery.

In 2011, our cancer program became the first partner member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network and is a fully integrated, clinical extension of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Since that time, we have grown to include multiple locations throughout the Phoenix area and in Northern Colorado. Discovery is cornerstone of our program, and we currently have 135+ ongoing clinical trials. The section of Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery is committed to education with programs for medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers as well as a fellowship program in reconstructive microsurgery.
