We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 156-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, including hybrid onsite and remote work, with preference for availability outside standard 9-5 hours. The Psychologist will provide care for patients dealing with addiction, mood disorders, family and marital issues, and more, seeing 20-22 patients per week in 60-minute sessions. Preference will be given to providers licensed in both Texas and California, though Texas licensure is required. Job Details Location: Texas Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 156 days Provider Type Needed: Psychologist Schedule: Clinicians can create their own schedules; preference for evening and weekend availability, but 9-5 candidates will also be considered. Hybrid schedule available with some onsite patient care required. 20-22 patients per week, each session is 60 minutes, approximately 20 hours per week. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct in-person and hybrid sessions addressing addiction, marital and pre-marital issues, bipolar disorder, depression, divorce, anger management, alcohol use, child or adolescent concerns, domestic abuse, and eating disorders Meet with approximately 20-22 patients per week, with each session lasting 60 minutes Engage with a diverse patient population, including children and adolescents, as well as adults Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care Adapt to flexible scheduling and hybrid work arrangements Additional Information Active Texas license required; dual licensure in Texas and California preferred Board certification is not required Ability to work outside of standard business hours is preferred Office building accessible 24/7 with badge access, front office open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
