Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility for a 13-week contract. This role supports the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services to help residents improve functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve daily living skills
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards
Requirements- Active state COTA license (must be current)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a COTA
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
