This role is for a Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a private clinic located in Moreno Valley, California, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. The position involves diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, managing medications, and educating patients, with a typical patient load of 25 to 30 per day. Fluency in Spanish is required, and the provider will work a full-time schedule Monday through Thursday with no weekends or evenings, supported by a clinical and administrative team.

COMPENSATION:
- $70 to $84 per Hour, negotiable depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice was founded in 2000 and offers a full scope of all-ages primary care services to residents of the greater Moreno Valley. They currently have one physician and one physician assistant, who are supported by fully-trained clinical and administrative staff members. They are hiring due to the longtime physician assistant relocating, which will allow the new provider to inherit an established patient base with a fully-supported transition period.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new provider will join a small clinic with a supportive team that works to ensure proper care for each and every patient.

This is an autonomous role in which the new provider will have their own patient panel.

The duties include, but are not limited to:

- provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- diagnose illnesses
- develop treatment plans
- monitor patients' health statuses and responses to treatment, adjusting plans as needed
- oversee medication management for patients with chronic conditions
- perform routine medical procedures and interventions as required
- educate patients and families on preventive healthcare, treatments, medications, etc.

Providers typically see 25 to 30 patients per day. This provider and the physician are supported by a team of three (3) medical assistants and one (1) medical assistant supervisor.

The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR.

The new provider will participate rarely in the phone triage on-call coverage. Call volume is extremely light - the practice gets between 1 and 5 calls total per month.

Many of the patients are Spanish-speaking and the practice requires a provider who speaks Spanish fluently.

REQUIREMENTS:
- California NP or PA license
- FNP certification or NCCPA certification
- DEA
- 2 years of advanced practice experience strongly preferred
- previous RN or other healthcare experience may be considered
- must speak Spanish fluently
