Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, with 36 or 48 hour weekly options
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday shifts required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty, sister units, and to lower acuity units as needed
- Must provide care to adult med/surg and telemetry patients
- Holiday coverage required per facility scheduling
- Team may include float support from within the specialty and related units
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Manager discretion applies for first time travelers
