This full-time Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner position involves providing comprehensive pain management care in an outpatient clinic setting in Northern New Hampshire, with some travel to outreach sites. The role includes patient evaluation, medication management, performing or referring pain-related procedures, and educating patients while working within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must hold a master's degree in nursing, have a valid APRN license in NH, DEA license, and at least two years of pain management experience.
Location: Berlin, NH + Outreach Site (Northern New Hampshire)
Position Type: Full-Time Locum Tenens
Start Date: ASAP (NH license required
Duration: 6+ months with option to extend or transition to permanent
Schedule: Monday Friday 40 hours/week No call or weekends
Setting: Outpatient pain management clinic
Patient Volume: patients/day
Travel: 1 2 days/week to outreach site (paid)
Compensation: $90/hr (negotiable based on experience)

Clinical Scope:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with acute and chronic pain
Manage medication therapy, perform consultations, and coordinate care
Provide education, counseling, and compliance monitoring (PDMP & UDS)
Perform or refer for procedures:
Trigger point & joint injections
Occipital blocks
Cold ablation (Iovera)
Botox for chronic pain/headaches
Certify patients for medical cannabis as appropriate
Participate in ultrasound-guided procedures and Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT) as qualified
Qualifications:
Master s degree in Nursing (APRN)
2+ years of experience in Pain Management
Active or compact-eligible NH APRN license
Experience with 50+ pain patients in the past year preferred
DEA license required; MAT certification a plus
Comfortable working independently in a rural outpatient setting
