This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Radiology Physician specializing in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, providing inpatient imaging coverage in Michigan. The role involves on-site and beeper call coverage, interpreting X-ray, ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, and MRI cases during weekday and weekend shifts. Candidates must hold an active Michigan license or be a member of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact and work in a stroke-certified, pediatric level 1 facility.

- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and PEDs level 1 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. Seeking on-site coverage for Pediatric Radiology, including weekday and weekend shifts with variable call responsibilities. Weekday shifts are from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, followed by beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m., with an average of cases per shift, approximately 60% X-ray, 20% ultrasound, 15% CT, and 5% MRI, including 1 2 fluoroscopy cases per week such as UGI or intussusception reductions. Weekend shifts are from noon to 8:00 p.m., followed by beeper coverage until 8:00 a.m., with an average of cases per shift, similarly distributed across modalities and including STAT fluoroscopy cases. On-site coverage is responsible for reading X-ray, ultrasound, STAT CT, and fluoroscopy cases, as well as MRI cases when time permits, with residents paging the on-call radiologist for trauma CT head and CT C-spine, STAT MRI for stroke or cord compression, MRI requests, UGI for bilious emesis, intussusception, liver or renal transplant immediate post-op ultrasound, and missing surgical instruments.
