This position is for a board-certified or eligible urologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Virginia, handling hospital and emergency department shifts with 24-hour call-back requirements. The physician will manage an average daily patient volume of 28 adult cases, using electronic medical records systems such as eCW and Meditech, and must hold an active Virginia medical license and DEA registration. The role requires current BCLS and PALS certifications, strict adherence to health and vaccination policies, and the ability to maintain DEA privileges in-state throughout the assignment.

- Jan 2nd (7A) " Jan 8th (7A) (day off Jan 3) '

- Clinical Information:
- In a 24 hour period they are usually called in 2-5 hours
- 24 hour Hospital/ED shifts with call back requirements; 20 minute response time.

- They do not see peds patients
- Required:
- Board certified/eligible
- Active VA license
- Active DEA/CSR
- Required BCLS; PALS
- 200 cases in the last two years- send case logs
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges.Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
