Closed 10.10.2025 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This locum tenens position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to further their career in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of cases including Vascular, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Trauma, ENT, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, OB-non high risk, and more. Work alongside a dedicated team of 22 CRNAs and 8 MDs, utilizing the Meditech EMR system. Participate in scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM, with optional weekend and call shifts. Candidate Requirements: Must hold an active Florida medical license. Board Certification in Anesthesiology is mandatory; Board Eligible candidates will not be considered. A minimum of two years of recent experience in the field is required. A clean professional record with no malpractice history or background issues is essential. Full-time availability with the ability to provide shift preferences and open dates for the next 3-6 months. Credentialing: The credentialing process takes approximately 120 days. Applicants must complete a skills checklist, NPDB self-query, and submit a disclosure form. A current CV and presentation are also required.
